Job Description:

• Collect the stock from relevant distributors as directed by the supervisor and ensure proper delivery to company office.
• Ensure strict compliance to the SOPs & timelines of various deliveries as assigned by the supervisor.
• Ensure strict compliance to SOPs & timelines related to cash collection from COD orders and depositing to the authorized staff at office.
• Precisely finish all paper work connected with conveyance of merchandize
• Transport staff, products, materials, securely to areas where they are needed
• Guarantee that staff and products are protected and secured
• Answer clients’ inquiries as brilliantly as could be allowed
• Ensure timely conveyance of staff and materials to and from places as instructed by supervisor or the manager
• Carry out routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are sound
• Recognize electrical and mechanical faults and report to the employer or technician
• Report any instance of mishap or accident to the dispatcher or supervisor
• Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor oil at appropriate time, as well as refueling the car(s)
• Keep up travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours
• Perform some other undertakings like shopping, dropping and picking terminals and running errands
• Dress professionally and in accordance with company’s dress code
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.
• Check the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
• Confirm allocations before departing for delivery.
• Efficiently load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring items are secure and safe.
• Maintain daily ride records, including Clock in and out times and maintain vehicle logbooks.
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes, receipts, fuel, Maintenance, Parking invoices are to be submitted to supervisor.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor.
• Any kind of regulation fines are to be paid by the driver.
